As well as being an artist who paints, I have been a textile artist for many many years. I painted landscapes onto clothing and when I learnt to crochet in the late 80's I also taught myself Tapestry Crochet, before I knew it had a name. I 'painted' with colours in yarn on my beanies (woollen hats) and customers at my weekly market stall, began requesting custom orders. So I became a Beanieologist, by demand. I am now quite known around Australia, in Beaniefest circles, for my unique, pointy hats, as I travelled in a van and bus around the country for 12 years. I am inspired by the vibrant colours in the Rainbow Region where I now reside in, Northern Rivers, New South Wales, East Coast.

I was very fortunate to have an alternative schooling, giving me the chance to explore art, drama, and free movement, in an open environment, setting me up for traveling a different road/life to many.
I am self taught in textile art, I developed my Wearable Art whilst selling it at a local weekly market, in the valley of St Andrews, Victoria.
It was there every Saturday, that customers saw my multi coloured Gumnut Pixie Hat and wanted one like it.

I have been awarded many awards for my sculptural exhibition hats, notably at The Alice Springs Beanie Festival, in Central Australia. My hats range from the Super Warm, ( read this testimonial ) -{ "You made a thick, fuzzy purple hat, sent to SacredStoneCamp. It was the warmest hat I found there, keeping me warm in -65°F ! Thanks for yr donation, it helped me survive. I appreciate it so much. Much love Brooklyn"} - to the Magical, Spiritual, 'Temples for the Head'. They are inspired by the knowledge, that we can all Connect with what I call the 'InnerNet', particularly when the Internet is not working.

We just have to Remember to Focus Our Invisible Antennas, out of our Crowns, to the Great Universal InnerNet.
